Walking may be the single most
important thing we can do for our continued health. Our communities
should encourage walking as part of a normal life style, not
something we have to go somewhere to do.
The Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention recommend at least 30 minutes a day of brisk
walking. That can even be in three 10 minute segments. If you
could walk to the store, the library or to work, you would find
that your body was refreshed, your mind worked better and even
your attitude might be improved.
mobiliti consultants
can help you create the kind of walking community that will
make your life healther and more fun.
Contact us about doing a Pedestrian
Walkabout. During 2004 we have access to grant money for Texas
communities that can make it very inexpensive to do one of the
workshops.
