Completion of StreetCycling/Adult
I includes a test ride in downtown Austin
| This
10-12 hours course includes the material presented in Bike
Driving 101 and also includes simple bike maintenance and
safety checks, emergency maneuvers and on-road practice. Students
complete a road and written examination. League of American
Bicyclists Road I certificates are issued to students achieving
acceptable scores on both tests.
A passing grade of 85 on both the written
and road tests is required for participation in the LAB League
Cycling Instructor Seminar. The LCI Seminar schedule for 2006
is currently being arranged.
Fees
Instructor Fee: $50 per person with a $500 mininum.
Material Fee: $15 per person
and includes LAB workbooks, forms, certificates, postage and
mailing.
$20.00 non-refundable deposit must accompany registration.
As of 1/1/2006, there
are 11 Street Cycling for Adults I classes scheduled by the
Austin Cycling Association. Please go to Registration
