Mr. Tyree is founder and principle of mobiliti, a not-for-profit consulting firm focusing on community transportation issues. He performs pedestrian, bicycle and transit community workshops and consults on issues ranging from Safe Routes to Schools to bicycle event management. He is a recognized authority in the field of bicycle safety education.

A former multinational chemical company marketing executive, university professor and award winning poet, Mr. Tyree brings a unique worldwide perspective to the issues of sustainable living and pedestrian, bicycle and transit planning.

Having taught the Texas SuperCyclist Project bicycle safety curriculum to over 8,000 Travis County school children in a pilot program, he is especially qualified to work with local communities on childhood transportation safety issues.

He authored The State of the Art: Bicycle Education in America for the national bicycle safety conference in Washington DC sponsored by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He has presented papers on bicycle safety, education and advocacy issues at regional, national and international bicycle conferences.

He is a certified League Cycling Instructor, was the Keynote Speaker for the Nevada Bicycle and Pedestrian Conference in March, 2005 and spoke on the subject of "Walkable Communities" to the Arkansas Transportation Planning Conference in April, 2005. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the National Safety Council magazine and the Reader's Digest.

An multi-modal commuter, Mr. Tyree has walked, cycled and used transit on six continents.
